Living in Brisbane for most of my adult life, I have been involved in the local design and art scenes for the past five years.
I first studied graphic design more than a decade ago, though I drifted away from the creative professions for a few years following an unpleasant 12-month term as a junior. After living overseas - and maturing somewhat - I realised there was a strong design community here in Brisbane, which convinced me to study graphic design for a second time in 2015.
Now, as a graphic designer with more than three years experience, my strength lies in layouts. Though I have gained extensive experience in print design, I believe the future is digital so I actively monitor online trends. Big brands whose style guides I have worked within include: Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council and Griffith University.
As an artist I have found my stride working predominantly with letterforms; always playing with depth and perspective. I primarily work digitally, because I find the speed of vector programs the most rewarding, but I also enjoy the challenge of hand painting large scale murals. If I can string a bunch of words together that makes the viewer think twice while looking at my art; all the better.
I'd love to work with you. Be sure to have a click around this site, and contact me by email if you’d like to work together.
